One running theme I thought was interesting, bands that have lost band members. Dave really held it together during "Times Like These". The more I hear about Dave Grohl, the more I love and respect him. I'm not a huge Foo Fighters fan, but I feel Dave's pain. The world lost two major music icons, but Dave lost two brothers. I teared up a bit.

He really is a good guy, respected by his peers and has made many friends/connections in the industry over the years.

I need to watch the whole show, I only saw bits of the CBS edited version on Friday night.

I always think back to Dave's/FF's relationship with David Letterman over the years. They formed a bond from around the time Dave had his heart surgery and asked them to perform on his first night back...
