thought I'd ask this in the nerd forum.

Does Vader know that Leia is his daughter?
 
I don't think he does.
 
how'd he know Luke is his son?
 
He could feel that Luke is his son when they were in the Death Star trench together and he confirms it somehow between Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back

He DID find out that Luke had a twin sister (and his daughter) by reading Luke's mind at the end of Return of the Jedi. "If you cannot be turned to the Dark Side, then perhaps she will!" It's not clear if he knows Leia is that daughter. "Tell your sister...you were right..."
 
I suspect he did not know until Luke started Jedi training and using the Force. Then it was a snap.
 
Pretty sure he didn't know who she was when he was raping her in the Death Star (LIKE WE ALL KNOW HE DID).
 
Yes, his robopenis demanded it!
 
so I guess he didn't feel Leia (LOL) while interrogating her in a New Hope

A Jerry Springer episode was filmed and is due to be in the shameless 2008 re-release of the trilogy.
 
The fact that he doesn't sense Leia is his daughter could be put down to the fact that Lucas hadn't decided Leia was his daughter until Return of the Jedi, OR you could just say he couldn't tell because Leia wasn't using the Force.
 
She used all her force trying to get her hair into those silly buns.
 
He was also distracted by thoughts of tapping that ass.

He would have had to been well off.
 
Vader knows that Leia is his daughter because Luke couldn't shut his brain up.

Leia knows because Luke told her just before Luke went to go have some quality father-son bonding on the Death Star.
 
And Vader rendered Luke unarmed.
