"You vill take zee inchection oont you vill like it!"

I actually think that a lion's share of the reason for vaccine hesitance, at this point, is due to just how hard the government is pushing and pressuring and manipulating people to take it. The harder somebody pushes, the harder people push back.

Maybe if they'd back the fuck off and treat it like the flu shot, the people would likewise treat it like the flu shot. But they're trying to flex at people. We don't go for that. It's kinda what we're known for, as a nation.

Good point. I like the strategic slant of my vax. For example I'll be in Vancouver next month because I followed the rules.

I've always said we're being experimented on. Benefits outweight the risks, and if that's the 5 point sales pitch it'll close.

But yes, everyone should get one. mRNA is a remarkable technology, fuck these political geeks and "public opinion"

I don't go anywhere, anyway. I guess you could bumper-sticker that as, "Fuck you, I don't want mine." lol

On principle, though, what these various governments are doing is -- particularly in the case of our own -- outright illegal. Nothing in our Constitution explicitly empowers our government to coerce people to take a shot. And, as I've covered upthread and elsewhere, if our Constitution doesn't explicitly empower them to do it, it's illegal for them to do it. (10th Amendment.)

I ignore all that bs. I could care less what the old guy wants. He's a bigger idiot than Trump on some issues if such a thing is possible.

You have absolute freedom to do what you like. Just be aware viruses aren't "alive" but they sure know how to spread.

mRNA tech is pretty cool as science. The beauty is it actually works. Couple that with CRISPR tech to code the genome (remember when that took years? now just days) and you get fun science experiments. The rhetoric from the government is what it always is. Biden has no idea what's good or bad for me, and I wouldn't expect him to.

1. That happens when there's widespread election fraud.
2. The evidence that's in so far -- not to mention the massive, screaming tantrums against further evidence discovery -- strongly indicate that that statement is 100% false.
3. That statement is based on modeling that falls flat every time its due-by date comes up. That's why it's been "only ten years to save the planet" since 1970 -- and will continue to be "only ten years to save the planet"... indefinitely.
4. Then you should have no objection to bans on the teaching of critical race theory in grade school. There's no reason to try to protect something that isn't happening.
5. Does that include affirmative action and other forms of anti-white racism? Because unless and until it does, you're not opposing racism, you're engaging in it.
6. That lie was more effective before it was blown wide open by its beneficiaries.
7. It's an ideology followed by a network of loosely affiliated organizations.
8. This strawman is so fresh, it still smells of horse shit.
9. Good. Leftists culling their own progeny is a self-correcting problem.
10. Rich people spend money. They spend money at the businesses of people who aren't as rich as they are, who spend money to hire people. That's not a lie. That's the source of upward financial mobility, which is something the left despises since it depletes them of suckers to swindle. "Trickle down economics" is just basic economics.
11. Yes, they are. But election integrity laws don't suppress legal votes -- just illegal votes, which the left depends on in order to disenfranchise legal voters to push through candidates and policies legal voters don't want.
12. Irrelevant until we see the vandals who are destroying those statues proceed to load those statues into trucks and drive them to museums.
13. Turning the United States into a modern replica of Weimar Germany, complete with waste, corruption, and degeneracy, is not progress. It's regress.
