You scared me there, I thought he had died.
If you look at the previous two movies, he was in a coma for half of the first one and kidnapped for most of X2 so I'm not really surprised that he's (apparently) being killed off. Still sucks though.

I suppose the more characters they kill means more time for Anna BUT they keep introducing new mutants in gay costumes so that doesn't really work.
