Because the underpinning of it doesn't exist, because Veitch cannot "save" anything that isn't archived.

What was interesting in that thread was that Chuck waited an hour to act "surprised" that the post was "editied" (as opposed to right after he edited it)

Put up or shut up Chuck. Have Veitch produce Panda's original post, or be branded the lying pussy you truly are. Bet you can't!

You also couldn't do a "Legal Action Troll" to save your life.

I didn't "wait an hour" to act "surprised"... I just don't spend sixteen to twenty hours a day on these boards (unlike some people).

If you want the original post, ask Veitch yourself. Or, better yet, ask Rall. He probably has it by now, and you're supposedly such good buddies with him.

Panda knows what really happened, and so do I and everyone who saw/quoted that post. If he's smart (ha!), he'll never show his face in the Gutters again. And your opinion doesn't matter (as usual). :)

even if Panda did say he knew Rall's lawyers, how is this a libelleous or defamatory statement? I can say I'm personal friends with George W, am I gaing to be sued now?

It's not, of course, but he thought it was, otherwise he wouldn't have changed it. I figured if he was stupid enough to think we'd believe his "legal action trolls", then he'd be stupid enough to believe one pulled on him, and I was right.

Three or four people quoted that post in pretty rapid succession before he edited it (I think it was up for most of the day), and believe me, if we were going to misquote him, we would have come up with something better than "I'm friends with Rall's lawyer".

Now Jack is falling right into my trap of trying to get me to prove that Rick has the original post. I didn't think it would be this easy, but there you go. He'll probably make about a dozen more posts asking me for Panda's original post. PWNED!!!
 
I'm pretty sure you'e lying Chuck, I've known Panda for a very long time and he's extremely clever and cunning. Nothing phases him. If this is an attempt to stain his character then you need to try harder.

Well, I just had to explain to you that saying you were friends with someone's lawyer wasn't really libel, so I guess that shows how "clever and cunning" you are. You'll understand if I take your opinion on others' intelligence with a grain of salt.
