In fact, does it even exist? Is it all just one big JOKE?
 
They're trying to make us insane.. and make sure we are desperate enough to pay for the hardback.
 
NEVER. I have them all on paperback...even though the Storm of Swords is divided into two books in paperback.
 
Mine are paperback too, but they're those giant paperbacks.

Well, they were cheaper than the hardbacks but just as hard to read as hardbacks.. I hate hardback books.
 
I like the big hardbacks and big paperbacks because they're loud, and I don't hear so well
anymore.

What's angered a lot of core Martin fans is that he's putting out other books instead, and I
gotta say that's pretty cheeky of him, the bugger.
 
I remember when some other author died before he could complete a series and people were like "OH NOES GEORGE MARTIN BETTER NOT DIE UNTIL HE FINISHES SONG OF ICE AND FIRE...then he can die afterwards, I'd be fine with that."

I hope he's at least started the others as well.

It *is* too late, he should have just skipped ahead 15 years like he originally intended.

I can't remember the details of the books anymore. Also, I gave the books away, so I'll have to buy them again. I think this ridiculous delay is a clever ploy to sell more books.
 
Cold Hands was the guy over the wall who helped Bran...I think.

I had to do it! The books were so good the only way I could get my dad to read them was to ship them to him. He doesn't like fantasy (the bastard) and I was convinced he'd like ASoIaF. I had to prove to him that not all fantasy sucks donkey balls.
 
And did he like them? Or did he hate them so much he burned them and shipped the ashes back to you?
 
He liked them! I knew he would because they are so good.
