I don't Share

No, you can't borrow anything. It'll take forever to get it back. It'll be really awkward calling every few days just to get my own stuff back. You'll lost, damage or break it all anyway.

Alright, maybe I'll share perishables, but don't even think about extending that any further.
 
I don't like to borrow either. How can I expect someone to lend me something knowing I can't return the favor?
 
I'm very generous when it comes to buying someone lunch, or burning a cd. Things of that nature. I just hate that people don't take care of other people's stuff.
 
Well that makes sense. Do they seem to take care of thier own stuff? That is usually a good indication of how they are going to take care of my stuff.
 
Some do, but those are still the people that borrow stuff for far longer than they should.
 
I have somebody's book that I realize now that I may not read. I will hate that akward, "Oh, how did you like it?" "Um I didn't read it" "Why not"
 
Years ago a friend forced a book on me to read. Four months later, asked when I was giving it back. After apologizing for having it that long (having forgotten about it), I hastily read it, and returned it two days later.
