How Long before Elwood Sells WF?

Do you mean to say that Elwood is part of a tiny elite wishing to hold onto rulership in the face of overwhelming forces?
 
In my opinion WF isn't near the point where EB would need/want to get rid of the board.

Yeah, this is a fuck up, but most of it was b/c of some of the staff (who have been there longer than he has owned it) not his actions. I would like to have this issue cleared up, and I don't mind making my opinion known, but it's not coup worthy in my mind at least.

Shit. It just hit me, like a bolt from the blue. And this is as good a thread to share my Revelation in.

I didn't vote in this poll. Because there was no "Never. He will dissolve Wordforge before he surrenders control." option. And since having that thought, he has essentially come out over at Wordforge and said that. Which brings me to my revelation:

WORDFORGE IS NO LONGER ABOUT ITS COMMUNITY. WORDFORGE HAS BECOME ELWOOD. Look at it. The one sin presently at Wordforge is to say or do something that embarrasses Elwood, or makes him look bad.
That is why I was canned as a moderator.
That is why Face was banned.
That is why CheekyMonkey was banned.
That is why Hood was banned.
That is why Goldeneye was banned.
That is why Storm was banned.
That is why Gul was banned.
That is why Crosis was banned.
That is why Chatacranny was banned.
That is why the Listkeeper lost his job--not because he was a terrible Moderator--he was. But he was banned because he was making Elwood look bad.

And that is why Cassandra, Nick, Tamar, and anyone else who cozys up to Elwood have essentially a license to kill--they do not make Elwood uncomfortable. While anyone who DOES make him look foolish is quickly and severely repressed. Which is a bit ironic, when you think about it.
 
Shit, I didn't get this one in under the limit, but I was going to add that is also why he has, of late, been so diligent at deleting and editing posts and deleting links to anything that is critical of him. Wordforge is no longer a place where Elwood's decisions may be criticized or questioned. :(
 
Oh, and more:

It is also why nothing was done about Jenna's allegations about Ted--they didn't make Elwood look bad.

It is why nothing was initially done about Storm's threats to Gul--until that inaction started to make Elwood look bad.

Funny you should mention that. There was a post of Tamar's chewing him out for that time she posted Actormike's livejournal in gul's "thread closings" thread and more or less asked for an apology for the week-long ban form the staff he imposed on her which "mysteriously" vanished, along with the comment with him apologizing for editing out TK posts. I thought I was going crazy because I couldn't find it.

some TKers pointed out some of Elwood's posts in the Meka thread have come up missing as well, but I sure ain't going through that gang bang of a thread to find that out first-hand.
