And solar is great -- but there are just a lot of places it won't work reliably. Arizona? Yes. Surprised that whole fucking state isn't running on solar. Iowa? Forget it. When it isn't raining, it's because it's snowing instead.

Yeah I built a little portable solar for my camping tent and I can have heat in the winter and a/c in the summer.. The car charges the battery and then I just leave it outside during the day for power overnight. There's a cord that attaches to the battery and I have lights and a heater and a small fan plus internet off the wifi in the car. All the conforts of home.
