did anyone see the one where he made the older dog disappear and materialised a puppy was in its place and the owner said "Hey what did you do to my dog!>!>!"
that was actually disturbing...we all wondered what indeed had he done to the dog!
 
I'm sure he gave the dog back when they stopped filming...I'd hope so anyway...
 
me too. he should have changed it back during the programme, tho.

By the way, if the top of the luxor building really gives off 4,000,000,000 candlepower of light, the bigger mystery is why he didn't fry soon after they turned the lights on.

how about: he's on a little platform (glass = good insulator plus hard to see)
that not only protects hin from the heat but somehow utilizes all that heat to make him rise (hot air rises) and then when they turn the lights out descends again??
 
If you shine a light onto glass it lights up at the edges.

That suit seemed to be very baggy, which is what me think of helium or hot air, or hot helium!

I don't watch the show so I don't know if they advertise it, but I stayed at the Luxor last winter, and as I walked thru the myriad halls and malls I happened by his production offices there. Nobody was there though.
 
^He lives there now since he is has moved to the Luxor to perform his Circus du soleil show this year and of course film Mindfreak for season 3.

This was the first episode of season 3 and it was pretty fucking great. As well as the main effect of levitating above the Luxor light (I can't fucking figure it out but regardless it's a great effect and highly dangerous) he also levitates inside the building and does some fucked up STUNT (not "trick") where he attempts an escape from a chair he is tied to by Dog the bounty hunter while under water. He is under for 4 minutes and for the first time he doesn't fully pull it off. It's pretty tense how long he is under water. he has trained himself to stay under for ages since he did the houdini escape (another stunt not "trick") in the locked box and chains from last season.

There is a very good reason he has been Magician of the year five times. I thought he was a bit hokey when I first saw him because he's kinda trendy and all that shit but ultimately he is probably the best illusionist and escape artist that exists today.
 
I have the next three episodes of this season downloaded and I'll probably watch them tomorrow time permitting so expect me posting some more Criss Angel shit in the next few days.
