They have names for some really specific fears.
 
I was afraid to open this thread. Is there a name for that?
 
I was gonna say, I was thinking Anatidaephobia might be the fear of reading something when you don't know what the title means...I WAS SCARED TOO!
 
I was reading last night that almost all anatidaephobia sufferers are self diagnosed.

This did not come as a major surprise.
 
I bet none of them use toilet duck.
 
If something is hurtling at an anatidaephobe and you yell, "DUCK!" they will more than likely freeze there in horror.

I would imagine that there is a higher incidence of headlessness among anatidaephobes than other groups.

I can understand being afraid of geese.

Ducks are nice though. They just go "quack quack" and swim about.

The whole duck/dog mask was done too. Where is the original thread for that? I googled ducks for days after that. Then I did it again, just the other day. Now I am trying to figure out how to say, "Anatidaephobia".

I was in line at a juice stand the other day. I ordered what I thought was a /fruit ige/ or /fruit edge/ and the girl after me ordered and it sounded like /fru taaj/ like Taj majal.
