The 2022 men's NCAA tournament for March Madness starts with First Four games in Dayton, Ohio and continues through to the 2022 Final Four in New Orleans.

Selection Sunday: 6 p.m. ET March 13 on CBS
First Four: March 15-16
First round: March 17-18
Second round: March 19-20
Sweet 16: March 24-25
Elite Eight: March 26-27
Final Four: April 2
NCAA championship game: April 4
 
NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: Gonzaga, Arizona, Kansas, Baylor named top seeds
This marks the return to the first "normal" tournament since 2019, with teams scattering to jam-packed arenas in eight cities for the first weekend, then to four different destinations for Sweet 16 before the fun ends in the Big Easy for the semifinals and title game.

Big bets coming in on Duke to win NCAA men's basketball tournament​


Money has been pouring in on Duke at sportsbooks around the nation, including one wager that would pay more than $5 million if the Blue Devils send coach Mike Krzyzewski out on a high note by winning the national championship. On Monday, a bettor in New Jersey placed a $300,000 bet on the Blue Devils to win it all with FanDuel at 17-1 odds. If Duke wins, the bet would pay a net $5.1 million. Krzyzewski, who has said he will retire after the season, is making his 36th appearance in the NCAA tournament, the most of all time.

No.2 seed Duke tops No.15 seed Cal State Fullerton to open Coach K's last NCAAs 78-61
Freshmen Paolo Banchero scored 17 points to lead the Blue Devils (29-6). Damari Milstead scored 12 points to lead 15th-seeded Titans (21-11), who missed 15 of 18 shots to open the game.

Moore's foul shoots lift No.10 seed Miami to 68-66 NCAA win over No.7 seed USC
Charlie Moore finished with 16 points for Miami (24-10). Drew Peterson, led the USC (26-8) with 17 points.

No.6 seed Texas beats No.11 seed Virginia Tech 81-73]

No.11 seed Notre Dame keeps rolling, beats No.6 seed Alabama 78-64 in first round
Cornac Ryan scored a career-high 29 points, including seven 3-pointers for Notre Dame (24-10). Keon Ellis led Alabama (19-14) with 16 points and Jaden Shackleford scored 13.

No.10 seed Miami dominates No.2 seed Auburn 79-61 to reach Sweet 16
Isaiah Wong scored 21 points, Cameron McGusty had 20 for Miami (25-10). Jaylin Williams and K.D. Johnson led Auburn (28-6) with 12 points each.

Coach K's last ride continues as No.2 seed Duke closes out No.7 seed Michigan 85-76
Krzyzewski's retirement will be on hold for Duke (30-6) several more days at least.Gabe Brown scored 18 points to lead Michigan (23-13).

No.3 seed Texas Tech beat No.11 seed Notre Dame 59-53 to reach Sweet 16
Kevin McCullar and Bryson Williams each scored 14 points for Texas Tech (27-9). Dane Goodwin scored 14 points for Notre Dame (24-11).
