When was James Marsters in Star Trek?
 
He wasn't - that's what the post is about. He auditioned to play Picard's clone in NEM but he tanked it, and Tom Hardy got the role.

I think he would have been better than Hardy. He looks more like Picard at least...
 
And at least he's actually English, unlike Hardy!
