Where is the Random Thread of Randomness stuff that doesn't belong in other threads thread?

Moving someplace (relatively) warm from NW Wisconsin is amusing, when chatting with relatives and old friends. "It's February and it's been weeks since the temperature was above freezing." "...yeah, and?" "Last weekend we got over 7" of snow in 48 hours." "So?" I'm complaining about a 17F high and someone is posting their outdoor thermometer reading of -32F.
 
I'm watching Leave it to Beaver on MeTV right now and Beaver and his friends are trying to gather the cash to buy a burro for $30 and I'm thinking I spend about 30 bucks on a twelve pack of beer and then which would be better the beer or a burro?
 
Charlies Angels: I'd forgotten how awful this was. s01e05, proto-Magnum is playing a surgeon, and someone is trying to pick off Jaclyn Smith. The creepy background music might make it worthwhile though.

Anyone else remember when somehow John Bosley became this weird sex symbol among the more elderly ladies in the viewing audience, or was that another Mandela Effect moment on my part?

I am so glad you mentioned Charlie's Angels becuase after the Fantasy Island discussion I started watching that-and now I've moved on to the Angels and I cannot even remember ever watching an episode before but just somehow thinking there were these bad ass women out there who solved crime-
It is so not that.

So now I am back to Fantasy Island and the theme music is like the Simpson's is it not?
 
I will say the early 2000s movie with Lucy Liu, Drew Barrymore, Camren Diaz, and Bill Murray as Bosley was pretty enjoyable.
 
She is very happy about dead iguanas.

There was an article about this, how you could bring them in to iguana collection points, where they would be humanely euthanized. You were supposed to put them in a sack so they could breathe and then put the sack in a cage so you wouldn't get hurt and etc, etc, and I was like "so they can be humanely euthanized"... Why not just stomp them where they lay and save a lot of time and effort?

Nobody wants to do the stomping anymore.
 
My dog's favoritest hobby is murdering groundhogs. Really, any burrowing mammal, but groundhogs are slow enough to catch and big enough to be a rewarding trophy. I got her when she was 5. She weighed around 50# and often even a juvenile groundhog, taken within a half mile of the house, was too big to bring home. In the almost 4 years I've had her, she's put on 20# of muscle and will carry an adult "whistle pig" over a mile back to her home. These days if she gets one before it gets to its hole, it is dead. But before she would sometimes literally bite off more than she could chew and there are a handful of occasions where I had to assist in murdering a woodchuck. We will not discuss how many I've buried or otherwise disposed of before a neighborhood fox realized there was free groundhog meat at my address if he could wait until sundown.
