Which Episode Is Better

Gonad

DON'T FUCK WITH MY TITLE BITCH
"Death Wish" from Voyager season 2 or "To the Death" from Deep Space Nine season 4?

IMO "To the Death" is superior; Q is gross and sexist in Voyager and it is clear that we are supposed to think it is funny (and perhaps we did back when this aired but not anymore!). To the Death is just okay; I don't particularly care for WarTrek. But it isn't gross at least.

"To the Death" from Deep Space Nine season 4 or "Hippocratic Oath" from Deep Space Nine season 4? I like Hippocratic Oath better because I liked that there was an actual ethical dilemma.

"Hippocratic Oath" from Deep Space Nine season 4 or "Blood Oath" from Deep Space Nine season 2? This one was easy, Blood Oath was more fun and had the fan call-backs, and I always like Jadzia Dax.

"Blood Oath" from Deep Space Nine season 2 or "The Empath" from Original Series season 3? A little more difficult; I do like the fan callbacks in Blood Oath but I appreciate the strangeness and more alien nature of The Empath. The Empath wins.

"The Empath" from Original Series season 3 or "Dragon's Teeth" from Voyager season 6? I really enjoy Dragon's Teeth but once again, The Empath wins out because I feel like I'm watching something different and alien. The score is on fire, too.

"Dragon's Teeth" from Voyager season 6 or "The Seventh" from Enterprise season 2? I like both episodes; Dragon's Teeth wins out because it is more about aliens and not so much "I'm a Vulcan but I don't look or act like one in any way but trust me I am since it serves the story." Kind of a reach.

"The Seventh" from Enterprise season 2 or "How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth" from Animated Series season 2? I really enjoyed Sharper more this time than I ever had before, but the story is tired, clunky, and overused and the variations just aren't doing it for me this time. I actively enjoy The Seventh; it is fun to watch people get openly manipulated. Seventh wins.

"How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth" from Animated Series season 2 or "People of Earth" from Discovery season 3? I haven't finished my viewing (yes I've seen it before) of People of Earth so I can't make my decision just yet.

Definitely prefer People of Earth. The beginning is way too ASMR but overall the newness of the distant future is more appealing than the Serpent storyline.

People of Earth was better; I find Assignment: Earth really boring for some reason and I still do. Would rewatch People of Earth, would not rewatch Assignment: Earth (of course they are both going to get rewatched regardless).

"Assignment: Earth" from Original Series season 2 or "Room for Growth" from Lower Decks season 3? I typically prefer standard Star Trek episodes to Lower Decks in a head to head but Room for Growth is pretty funny and Assignment: Earth just isn't interesting to me. I'd rewatch Room for Growth but not Assignment: Earth (spoiler: they are both going to get rewatched eventually).

My husband is behind on Prodigy and we are both behind on Lower Decks so this weekend we watched 1 episode of Prodigy (Ascension Pt 2), the first episode of season 5 of Lower Decks, and the 1st episode of season 3 of Strange New Worlds.

IMO Prodigy is the best of all the new trek shows. I love it and wish it could go on forever, it is just so WHOLESOME. Makes sense that it would get cancelled though; my kids had their own Netflix Kids accounts and Prodigy did not even crack the Trending Kids top ten the first weekend season 2 dropped. That's when I knew it was over. On another Prodigy side note, since I already loved the show I had the action figures pre-ordered and had the blu-rays when Paramount announced it was not making a season 3 and sold season 2 to Netflix. So that week there was a run on the blurays and action figures but I already had mine (blu rays in hand and action figures on order. Whew! My biggest disappointment is that the Rock-Tok figure got canceled.

Husband liked the Lower Decks episode and it was cute but I haven't been consistently feeling the show since season 2.

Strange New Worlds was okay, the digestive tract thing just made me think of the cotton candy cocoons in Killer Clowns from Outer Space. I don't care enough about the Captain's girlfriend or Spock/Chapel's relationship for that plot to interest me. When #1 and Uhura brief Pike on the sun EM rays I thought they were planning on faking that light show so I was slightly confused when they got the idea to do that later in the episode. Overall its fine though. Hope the Gorn stuff is over because I prefer Star Trek to WarTrek.

While I was away I watched ALL of Riverdale as it aired; I've always enjoyed Archie comics from childhood through adulthood, so the show was enjoyable. The art direction really should have gotten some award recognition because the set designs were phenomenal, as were the costumes. Season 2 sucked ass, season 3 was the best because it was bug-fuck insane, season 1 was second best but you could legitimately argue it was the best because it was a cohesive story. Season 4 was boring and repetitive but some of it was creepy good and they had a really fun episode that was a riff off of Lois Duncan's Killing Mr. Griffin. Season 5 was great, the best of the later seasons. Season 6 wasn't really my thing but it had its moments. Season 7 had PROBLEMS. The finale was awful.
