I want to smell dark matter
One number for women, one number for men. You can pick the same number twice. THE CHANCE TO WIN TWO ONCE IN A LIFETIME PRIZES.

Women: 8

Men: 24
 
Question:
a) Can the numbers have a decimal place?
b) Do both numbers when added need to equal 30?

If a) and b) == false
Men: 11
Women: 21

if a) == true and b) == false
Men: 18.47
Women: 29.99

if a) == false and b) == true
Men: 1
Women: 29

If a) and b) == true
Men: 1.45
Women: 28.55

Also I didn't see the math as humor.......

Nor did I.

I was being quite sincere in the thoroughness of my response.

If I had attempted to inject some humor into the proceedings, I would have done something outrageous like ... naming a number outside the range (e.g., 31) - now that would have been worth a guffaw or two.

No ... even to suggest such a thing is just more trouble making. I apologise, Wacky.
