It looks like testing of THC levels is expensive and not easy. There are online kits, but they are in the hundreds of dollars and limited uses. Meaning, you'd have to keep buying them every so often.
Not really practical. I guess, when I have the money I can get a kit and just randomly test any stuff I get that doesn't seem to be very good. Then call my supplier on it.
Other than expensive testing, how else do you personally check to see if you are being ripped off? I've done searches to compare the 'look' of what I get to what my supplier claims it is (e.g. does it look like Purple Kush), but a lot of what I am getting does not come up in searches as known strains. Probably because legalization is still kind of messed up here, and unclear, and 'seed banks' and dispensaries are struggling to get established.
