Fallout from Yo leaving. Whatever plugs Yo pulled last night have finally overflowed and crashed the board.

How so Cat? By stating the truth?

Their are 4 options here....

1. Yo did something last night (whether on purpose or by the act of removing one of his mods we can not say) that caused the database to malfunction to the point where it finally gave out today.

2. Yo installed some kind of half ass crappy mod that caused the board to fail without someone maintaincing it like he predicted.

3. Yo still has board access and crashed it.

4. HF caused the board to crash trying to restore the former mods.

The board went down quite on its own it seems. The tech we had in didn't even have time to look at the templates before the thing went down.

^ HF you were out of touch, did not answer your email and LoP had to leave.. That left me. And he made me an admin in his absense. I have the email..

Until this is handled I'll continue to help. Then I'll step back down. You are not in charge alone here... You have other admins to consult with..

And If you stayed in touch with LoP, we all would have known what was up. As it is, we have several places to let members know what is happening..

What is your problem with informing members in as many places as possible.. It seems silly to not try to get the word out as much as possible.

Yes, I'm aware of how the board went down and that it happened before a tech could even begin. Still a forum isn't a bad idea, and you should actually be a bit appreciative that some one tried... even if it wasn't 'necessary' in your mind.

Better to do too much than not enough in this case...

I was on the board.

No one bothered to inform me that we were going to every board in creation to ask for forums to be made however.

Except the one board that we actually own it seems...

As for being an Admin... LoP can't do that. We've been over that time and again.

Goodness HF, is adding a temp forum on a known SSU member hang-out such a sin? Considering that Cait resigned a day (?) or two ago, I think that it was rather nice of her to arrange.

I don't know history, I'm not involved in your politics, but to an outsider your tone and remarks are pretty vennom filled at someone who appears to be trying to help you.
